At the end of last year D2C started working with San Francisco based Itensil on a project to provide a better solution to a classic business problem - an organisation was using Excel spreadsheets sent by email to a team of managers in many locations for production planning. As soon as the mail with the spreadsheet was sent, they were out of control with multiple copies, mistakes and nobody knowing where the definitive version of the spreadsheet was. They knew there had to be a better way of working, with everyone collaborating on one version of the same spreadsheet, just like a wiki document.
